activated aluminas which exhibit a high specific surface area combined with a high
capacity for various liquid and gaseous media. These Crushed
Active Alumina are non-toxic, practically non-dissolvable in aqueous media in a pH-range
of 3.5 to 10.5 and chemically inert towards most gases and solvents.
Due to their specific values they find use with various processes of
the petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
